Happy Birthday JD! I love this photo of JD that my daughter Jen took and used on her evite invitation for his birthday party. I wanted to share it with everybody along with a few pictures of the eggnog cupcakes I made for JD's Pre K class. These eggnog cupcakes are probably more of a muffin than a cupcake but the eggnog glaze makes them sweet and perfect for a birthday boy who loves eggnog. I found the recipe for my cupcakes on Twitter, there are more good recipes passing through always attracting my attention. I bookmarked the recipe from two peas & their pod as I knew immediately that I would be making these for JD. Please find the link to the recipe below.

Here is the link to the recipe for eggnog cupcakes at two peas & their pod where you'll find excellent step by step instructions to make mini size cupcakes. I stretched the recipe to make 15 on the smaller side average cupcakes for the number of children in JD's class. I also double dipped the cupcake tops into the bowl of glaze.

Oh, how precious he is, Patty! I just love that first photo - such a great choice for his BD evite. :) I am with JD - as soon as it is available in the grocery store, I have to buy some eggnog so I can have a little bit in my coffee every morning, so I know I would love these eggnog muffin/cupcakes. OMG, SO SO ADORABLE! Lol! Your grandson is seriously too cute for words, Patty! I want to draw a little halo on all those photos of him. Haha. Happy belated birthday to JD!
